How do you Design a Subculture???

Can a group of people actually design their own culture?
Can they purposefully choose a worldview, establishing new cultural forms and traditions, deliberately moving away from the prevailing culture of their environment and times? If they do, is it really a culture? And can these people really expect such a thing be successfully passed on to future generations?

We say - "WHY NOT"? There is nothing impossible for God! It's already starting to happen. The people of God are openly rebelling against the worldly standards that have been imposed on them for so long. PLEASE READ ON...

We are not presuming to design anything ourselves. The Body of Christ will do that, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. The purpose of this page is to identify some of the cultural "markers" that God is already starting to build into His Church.

It is naïve to imagine that we can return to the culture of the Bible. The Bible spans many cultures (Canaanite, Babylonian, Greek, Roman, etc) and much of it is couched in language specific to a particular time and place. Our task is to identify key principles in the Bible and develop traditions and cultural forms that will faithfully reflect the purposes of God for His people in this new technological age.

Here are some things that we believe are already starting to become integral cultural forms in a new Christian sub-culture.  Eventually, we hope that each of these captions will lead to an article discussing the concept and its adoption by parts of the Christian Church.
